Drop-in advising

One question, one hour, and an answer you can keep.

Not everyone needs a mentor for the long haul. Sometimes there's just one thing you need help with.

That's what these sessions are for. You book, we talk it through, and you leave with something in writing.

Ways we can help you

Building a college list
A second opinion on an activities section
Working out whether to submit test scores
Preparing for an interview
Figuring out what to do after a deferral
...And so much more!

Every session ends with a written summary and, when it helps, a filled-in worksheet. That might be a college list sorted into tiers with our reasoning, an activity map, or a short list of what to do next.

When mentorship is the better deal

One-off sessions cost more per hour than mentorship. Each new student takes extra time up front, because we have to learn about your background, goals, and what you need before we can help.

If you think you'll want more than three or four sessions over the course of a year, the mentorship subscription is a better deal. And if you meet someone here you'd like to keep working with, ask for them by name.
